This is another one from my early days of cooking and experimenting, the original recipe made for an incredibly “heavy” dessert and as a result I hadn’t made this for quite a while, however I have reworked it & tested it with quite a few friends recently and they all gave it a thumbs up including our Guest Photographer for this post and the recipe. After some thought and experimentation, I settled on a berry ice-cream as the best to serve this with. The tart of the berries balances the sweetness of the chocolate perfectly. I’ve included the details for making the ice-cream on the recipe, but you could of course serve this with any ice-cream.
This tastes out of this world especially if you are a chocolate lover and is an ideal way to top off a Valentines dinner. I can’t wait to hear what you all think of this recipe.
